I finally get the chance to visit my favourite animal in the world - Penguins again afer > 10 years of missing them (the last time was in ocean park). I flew so far just to see them! (kidding), so here comes my short summary for the tokyo trip this weekend.
14 July, 2006 (Friday) - sunny day
Thanks my colleagues for seeing me off at the airport (haha, acutally we just went to lunch together and after lunch, i directly hop on the plane). It's my first time to enjoy our benefit after joining an airline, originally i was worried about the SUBLO policy, yet, it seems that nothing was so different, i got my boarding pass immediately, simply because there were too many empty seats.
4 hours of flight, watched two movies:
1. Crazy shoppers (local movie by Cheung pak chi)
- A topic worth exploring -> everyone in our society suffers from some kinds of diseases, probabaly because of the huge pressure we're bearing everyday
- Other than that, the movie is just a mess. Nothing much to say.
2. Beauty and the Beast (Korean movie)
- I like korean movies, especially romantic comedy, they are easy to watch and sometimes really good at bringing out beautiful side of life through humorous scenes. Beauty and the Beast is a very simple romantic story, a pretty blind girl fall in love with a ugly guy and when she was about to regain her sight, her boyfriend disappeared because he was afraid to let her see his real face. He went to perform a cosmetic sugery and failed finally. Happy endling of cause. You'll have to watch it yourself to taste the sweetness in the movie.
- A lot of the little moments are executed well, the actors are charismatic and overall it's fairly entertaining. The supremely talented Ryoo Seung-beom turns in a nice performance, as you might expect he would, and Shin Min-ah is extremely charming -- you can understand why both men are falling all over themselves for her.
You might want to enjoy a sweet comedy during weekend with your honey, check it out!
