my family in taiwan

I am sooo happy right now, coz i just got back from meeting my visitors from taiwan~!!
The wei's family's little cousins..Jun ai and Yang Xin.

I cant really remember when was the last time i met them, they just became sooooo tall and pretty now....
Although I didn't managed to see Ian and Eric, meeting their family is just so awesome! we first met in 2000 when i flew over during christmas. Although i was away from my family and friends in Hong Kong, i had a very sweet and warm christmas, with 20+ family members joining a "thanksgiving christmas sharing party"...

Since then, i was in love with all of them, especially those two little ones.....

i seriously wanna get back to taiwan for a month or so............

I'm not even 32 years old, so i cannot tell.

But i am the product of such relationship and would like to congratulate my parents for accomplishing such task!

a thought on st. valentine's day

have been struggling on the DMS client setup all day yesterday (at least it's nice that i can spent one day on just 2 tasks), and working like a mechanic at home to fix the pc (yea, i almost got the notebook completely componentized). Feeling extremely tired this morning, especially my neck!

So i shall at least say happy valentine's day to all of you my friends and family. I planned to make some heart shape cookies (like i did last year) and distribute it to all my colleagues today, haha, finally didn't really manage to do so! Just to recap, last year, i bake around 70 big cookies for all the IM colleagues in dragonair. I did that because of a special reason....

很多人都知道『バレンタイン・デー(情人節)』是在2月14日。可是在日本，除此之外還有一個情人節，那便是一個月之後的3月14日，日本人將其稱作『ホワイトーデー(白色情人節)』。如果一方在2月14日收到情人節禮物，而對對方也有好感時，就會在3月14日回送對方一份禮物，這表示彼此已經心心相印。日本人就把3月14日這天訂為「白色情人節」。

在日本，情人節除了是女生向男生吐露愛意的日子外，也可拿來感謝男上司、男同事、男同學、甚至於家中的父親、兄弟、丈夫等，他們這一年來對自己的關照。因此，日本的商人就將日本情人節的巧克力分為兩類，一種是送給自己的情人或將告白的男生時的『本命チョコ(本命巧克力)』，也可說是求愛巧克力。另一種只是表達感謝的『義理チョコ(義理巧克力)』，也就是人情巧克力。在情人節商業化的日本，說起情人節巧克力的種類還不止這些呢？其實市面上還有『世話チョコ』、『友チョコ』等等。

在日本，如果男生在2月14日沒收到巧克力時，自己會覺得很糗，因為這樣表示你沒有人緣。但在台灣比較沒有這種氣氛，且似乎都是男方送女方禮物較多。相較之下，我覺得台灣女生好像比較幸福喔~但不管怎麼樣，一年有兩個情人節也算是日本特色吧！
