Are you into Verdana?

I was looking at some recent font design. Amazed by the importance of typography in graphic design nowdays.

So i came across this news of IKEA of switching from the signature customised typeface "Futura" to the well known "Verdana".

That's why i had this weird feeling while reading through the IKEA catalogue 2010, it just appeared to be a lot more 'functional".....
