16 July, 2006 (Sun) - cloudy and windy
Today is the day for penguins......................
Originally we planned to kick off our journey at 0900, haha, ended up leaving at almost 1100.
Before starting the journey, went to my faourite place for some soup. Soup-Stock:
I had -> onion pouch and green curry soup this time, i like the green curry one, really delicious
Since the theme park with the huge aquarium is situated very far from tokyo, near yokohama, we needed to transit 4 times (about 2 hours) in order to reach the station - 八景島
It's actually a theme parks with all those rides and stuff, but i'm just here to see my love - penguins!
The park is pretty, with a bit of breeze, thanks God for providing us with a cooler weather. The aquarium is acutally quite huge loads of animals, like polar bears, sea otters. As we approached the centre of the aquarium, the heart beats became faster and faster........................
OH MY GOD!! They are simply soooooooooooooooo super cute! Picture tells more than words:

The sea otter is actually very cute as well, when those feeder provided one of them with a shell as lunch, the sea otter used his biggest effort to crash the shell against the glass in order to break the shell...haha, very cute!
So tired after so much walking. The surrounding environment is extremely nice, with beaches and greens. At around 6, we finally started our long journey back to uneo.
walking so much makes us extremely hungry, hehe, so we stopped by one street and had the most delicious takoyaki.
you know the takoyaki was covered with egg mayo which makes it sooooooooo yummy!
After a bit of rest, we finally decided to end our day with korean bbq (it's kind of our tradition to eat bbq as our last dinner)

we call it a day being so full and satisfied~~~
